F-15Es at Robins AFB

F-15E Strike Eagles from the 335th and 336th FS of the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour-Johnson AFB are currently at Robins AFB in central Georgia conducting exercises while there is runway maintenance ongoing at Seymour-Johnson.  According to a press release last week, the F-15Es will be at Robins through at least this week.

Yesterday was the first day this week that I’ve been able to listen out for activity from the F-15Es and I wasn’t disappointed.  During the afternoon I caught 3 flights working in the Fort Stewart Range Complex and Townsend Range in coastal Georgia and in W-157 off of the Georgia Coast with other units such as JSTARS from the 461st ACW at Robins AFB and the Georgia Air National Guard’s 165th ASOS.
