11 November is Veterans Day, so there will be plenty of Veterans Day special event stations on the air this weekend. Some of them will also be honoring the 237th birthday of the US Marine Corps and one will also be remembering the loss of the Five Sullivan Brothers. The SS Edmund Fitzgerald sunk in Lake Superior on 10 November 1975, so there is at least one Edmund Fitzgerald special event station that will be on the air. There is also a special event station for a rather unique event – the world’s largest cuckoo clock. Have fun and remember to honor our Veterans this weekend.
