This morning, I’ve worked on updating the Amateur Radio page of this blog. I let it get badly out of date and for that I apologize to both my readers and the organizations whose information is on it. I’ve made the corrections that I know of to the repeater listing and added the weekly Southeast District ARES/ Team Radio Georgia weekly nets to the Amateur Radio Calendar. I’ve also added a link to the Glynn Amateur Radio Association (GARA), the amateur radio club in Brunswick.
Since I replaced the Yaesu FT-8800 in the car, I’ve put it in the shack at home and will be able to operate 2 Meters/70 cm from home. I’m hoping that will help me be more active on the radio when I’m at home in Savannah.
If you see anything that I still need to correct or any repeaters that I should add for the I-95 corridor through Georgia, please let me know in the comments below and I’ll make the correction/addition.
